Sacred water the drips down from the mountain. The mountain itself is sacred due to a phalic formation on the top of the mountain that represents Shiva. There is a lot of cross over between bhudist and Hindu faiths here.
The town here doesn't have a ton I do. It's a quiet town. We decided we would go get massages to kill some time. This spa was much nicer than anywhere we have been. They started us on a deck that overlooked the Mekong river and gave us blue butterfly pea water. We got changed and got our massage and at te end the citronella lemon water and bananas for us. The massages were really good as well. Not the cheapest at $8 but it was a really nice experience. Not really one we are used to. We walked to get some dinner. The food here is pretty similar to the rest of Southeast Asia so far. It's good. The fried rice is usually more of a curry rice than anything. I have enjoyed everything we have had so far. Food for each meal here is usually in the 2-3 dollar range. Similar to what we found in Cambodia.
