Road trippin

Well our car experience has been interesting. I think Brandt got a ticket and Silje backed into a car. On a brighter note I got to Jump off a bridge but into really gross water. Still one of my favorite things to do. We moved on got some great weather and hung out on the beach at Noetzie.

It's a rugged and beautiful beach tucked back away on a dirty road. There are big castle homes that are right there near the beach. There is also a lagoon there that you are able to go back and swim in if you want to avoid the rocks in the surf. We went in the ocean as the fresh water here not real inviting. Now we are headed to port Elizabeth for our next stop.

We stopped at vineyard and had some really good food. It was nicer than what we typically eat for sure. It was a really nice little vineyard.

On our way to port Elizabeth we made a slight detour. We decided to bungee jump off the highest bridge bungee jump in the world. It was cool and right down my alley. Kind of expensive but was worth it for sure.

We made port Elizabeth and of all things went bowling. It was fun but nothing special. I woke up early and decided to go out for swim. When I got back everyone was still sleeping so went for a walk out to the pier and watched people surf and swim. Port Elizabeth is nice but not the prettiest stop so far. It's a big town complete with an airport. Not really my favorite of locations so far but has its appeal. I prefer the smaller coastal cities. They tend to have a cool vibe with them that isn't replicated in cities like this one.

Port Elizabeth was cool. We went to a game reserve outside of town because Frida and Silje hadn't seen a rhino so we went to see a rhino. It wasn't Kruger but it was cool in its own way.

We are now doing about a ten hour stretch from port Elizabeth to Coffee bay. It's been tons of fun. Road tripping with Brandt is always a good time but we really feel like family not and have really enjoyed getting to know each other. Especially considering we didn't know our travel friends just a little over a week ago. Brandt was talking about having experiences with people and those experiences tie people together.

We just stopped at a gas station and we met a family from the village and try were so excited to see white people and kept calling is Arnold swartzanegger and asking us to flex so he could feel our muscles. They were funny kids. They also kept asking is to speak English. I guess the family doesn't come into town often and white folk aren't common were they are from.

Well. Minor setback we were driving down the road and there were some huge speed bumps on the road and we hit them going about 110 and cracked the power steering something. Anyway it's leaking pretty bad. We got to our destination but have to get that sorted tomorrow. We stopped at coffee bay.

He hiked with me for a while

Well we got the car patched kind of pretty rough job but we are now limping to Durban. On our way Brandt was passing a truck somewhat illegally and he got pulled over by some cops on the side of the road. He got a good talking to. Pretty funny. We bribed him and took off. Crazy country. We have had an interesting drive to say the least.
