Getting around Tonsai

Today was scuba diving. It was really fun. The ocean is just a whole different world. The package was for two dives at two different islands. Both dives were pretty similar. We dove from 5-15 meters so nothing real deep. The initial jump was different. It's a crazy sensation being able to breathe under water but once you settle into it so serene. We saw tins of fish and coral. We some some sting ray as well. I don't have pictures odeon the dive and the ones from the boat are on my camera. Jared wasn't feeling well and right  as we surfaced for the second dive he started to throw up. So needless to say the rest of the day we have taken It easy. I needed it though. My feet have been really sore after all the walking from yesterday.

We went and had another busy day. We got a little later start as we had to book flights to Cambodia and return tickets for Jared. We leave on the 18th. Angkor wat here we come. After that we went to the 123 wall in railey. We climbed some easier but really cool routes. They went up really cool stalactite formations.

From there we wakes of to pha nang beach and went to a route called the best route in Minnesota. It's a striking arĂȘte inside a came. Such an incredible line. There was a Russian group who where on the climb and they weren't going to be done before night fall. So we took an adventure through a cave that took you through the mountain and spit you out on the thaiwand wall. From there you typically rappel down but we just downclimbed. We had time for one more route so we got on a really long line that took you up right next to a cave entrance. The hardest climb of the day. We were right about sunset and the views from the climb were incredible. You could see east and west railey and tonsai beach. Of course we pushed the time of it all so we ended up having to come down in the dark. The terrain is pretty treacherous so we had some close calls but with the assistance of the light of the phone we eventually made it back.  Really fun climbing day. Now we have some things we have to go back for. We have to get back to the best route in Minnesota. It's too cool of a line to not give a go.

Today we are headed out to kayak and tonight hopefully we will get back on burnt offerings.

So we had a really awesome day on the kayaks. Lots of fun. Really pretty beaches and great weather. We went to some beaches only accessible by boat. We also go to do some deep water soloing which is climbing with no ropes over water. It was a really fun time. Then we went to the Marley wall and climbed this really cool climb out of a cave and out through some stalactites. Got some cool pictures but they are on my camera so may come later.
