The day before

It's a bit of an anxious day today. The day before we take off to South Africa. We had the opportunity to catch up with some family and head out to the beach. 

We went to te montage which has a really cool beach area and beautiful grounds. 

I got to spend time with my cousin Ashley at the beach and went out to lunch with my aunt Michelle and cousin Nicole. It's fun to have family around. 

It's been interesting to see people's reaction when they hear about the trip. It seems like I have gotten a little bit of everything. People who think we are crazy others wonder how we are doing it and others are just excited. I have run through the gamut of emotions with the trip. I have felt overwhelmed at times excited almost constantly. A little nervous wondering if it is the right decision. But now the night before we take off I just feel tired. It's been a long road to get to this point and it's just the start. I can't wait to see what is to come and am excited to see what comes of it all.
